Blogging is becoming big business for many men and women out there. Anyone who is trying to earn an income, even a small one, in the world of influencer marketing recognizes the need to get and stay organized.
A great blog planner is a way many of us do just that.
About The Blog Well Planner
The Blog Well Planner is a quarterly planner for the serious entrepreneur. If you are blogging for just the fun of it, then the planner has way more detail involved than you would need!
After going through how to use the planner, you are provided with pages for a year at a glance before digging into pages for each of the 3 months.
Unlike some planners, this one is undated. That way you can use it for any quarter (or 3 month cycle) of the year! The copy I received does have a sheet of major holidays for 2018, 2019 and 2020.
Specific pages included for the year are:
Year at a Glance Promotions
Year at a Glance Big Goals
Year at a Glance Professional Development
Year at a Glance Income Tracker
There is also a section for goals for the quarter.
Within each month, you find the following pages:
Finances & Professional Development Tracker
Blog Post & Promotions Tracker
Weekly Time Blocking Schedule
The planner rounds out the pages with a spot for contacts, a quarterly statistics tracker and a quarterly review.
To help you make the most of The Blog Well Planner, Katie has a series of videos you can watch as well as printable tabs and stickers. Each of those free resource pages are listed in the printed copy of the planner. The videos include mention of other tools and resources that can help you as a blogger.
The Blog Well Planner (physical book) retails for $15.00.
My Thoughts on The Blog Well Planner
I have decided that there is not a single planner out there that has all the bells and whistles I think I need. However, there are things about this one that I do like.
Katie has taken years of trying to merge different planners and pulled together one that helps you focus on priorities with a clean and attractive layout.
The planner is not only printed but bound. That means I can more easily store in on a shelf for the future. When I print out pages to make my own in a 3 ring binder, I often fight the urge to toss out the whole mess when I am done.
I like that on each daily page, Katie has a spot for you to write down one thing for which you are grateful. It can be all too easy to get caught up in the busyness of blogging to celebrate the small things. She also includes social media posts (with 5 spots for Facebook!) along with 3 things you WILL do today. I know from experience that having a small set of must-do items written out can help me be more productive with my time.
Overall, this tool is poised to help the serious blogger take control of their days and meet the goals they are setting.
