How to Make Time for Yourself This Holiday Season
1. Take a Breather While Shopping
Shopping for the perfect gifts can get overwhelming. While you’re out shopping, take the time to shop and have a cup of your favorite coffee or a yummy treat. Taking just 10 to 20 minutes for yourself can make all the difference. Of course, sipping on a peppermint mocha won’t hurt either. It can be just what you need to boost your spirits.

And if you really want to reduce the stress, do more of your shopping online! I’m a fan of Amazon’s Deals of the Day and Lightning Deals, but also love the deals you can find on sites like Jane, Wayfair and KaTom for kitchen items.
2. Watch Your Favorite Christmas Movies Each Evening
Each night, make time to watch at least one holiday movie or special. This can be a great way to relax each evening. You can find so many awesome holiday movies on Amazon Prime Video or Netflix.
Many TV stations also have great movies and TV shows on during the holiday season. And, even the ones with a hint of sadness in them always lift my spirits in the end. I’ve shared some favorites in the past and will be sharing more in the future.
3. Enjoy the Holiday Scented Bath Products
What would the holidays be without holiday scented bath products? Hit your local Bath & Beauty Works when there’s a good sale. You’ll be able to score all the great scents for buy 3 get 3 free. This allows you to pamper yourself without spending a lot of money. Best of all, your husband is going to love it when you smell like sugar cookies or peppermint.
4. Taste Test the Goodies
After you spend all that time baking cookies and making candy, take the time to sit down with a cup of coffee or tea and try what you’ve made. It’s the perfect way to relax after all that hard work.

5. Make Sure Your Guests Have Everything They Need
Last, but not least, if you’re going to have holiday guests, make sure they have everything need and know where everything is. This allows you to “turn in early” so that you can get some time to yourself each evening. Plus, it makes you look like the perfect hostess.
You don’t have to spend every bit of your time this holiday season doing something for someone else. There are ways to make time to do something for you. Whether you make time to watch your favorite Christmas movies or taste test all the goodies you make, you can make time for yourself this holiday season.
