Every season, it seems that there are new trends for fashion.  Of course, there are!  How else are they going to keep getting us to buy new clothes? There’s something about the color combination of blue and white that just looks fresh.  It’s perfectly wearable for all skin tones, and looks good, too.

The trend of blue and white ethnic prints is going to be big for a while. Look to European countries for this trend, like Scandinavian prints, Greek patterns, and even embroidery.

Summer 2016 Fashion Trends: Matte Lips

While this, technically is a beauty trend, it’s still one of the major fashion trends.

Matte lips are everywhere.  Even better, the new formulations of matte lipsticks aren’t nearly as drying as their predecessors. Try a liquid lipstick for better coverage and easier application. Bold colors in a matte lip are one of the biggest on point trends if you want to be extra daring. If not, a subtle pink, mauve, or even a lavender shade is perfect for summer.

Summer 2016 Fashion Trends: Wedges

Wedges have been popular for a few years, and they show no signs of slowing down. Whether it’s the ease of wear, how comfortable they are, or that they give your legs that long, lean look without having to wear heels, the wedge trend is continuing on.

 

You can dress them up, or dress them down. Pair with a dress for an extra flirty look that’s perfect for a night out, or with ankle pants or capri pants for lunch and shopping.

 

Summer 2016 Fashion Trends: Long Earrings

Earrings are no longer content to be sitting on the sidelines.  They want to be noticed and are shouting to be seen.  Long, shoulder duster earrings are one of the newest earring trends. These are generally riding on the fringe trend and have multiple strands of beads, chain, or some other material.

Large hoops and bold patterned earrings in chevrons or squares are also super hot for summer. You can get into this trend for less than $20.

With just a few pieces and a little bit of effort, you can really revitalize your wardrobe for summer – and beyond!
