I have been, or can be if you click on a link and make a purchase, compensated via a cash payment, gift, or something else of value for writing this post. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

This post, Being Active Everywhere with prAna, was made possible with 2 items featured in this post. All opinions are my own.

When it comes to having a full life, I have a serious need to be active. As much as I need technology for my online ventures, I crave time outdoors especially when the sun is shining.

Active Everywhere with prAna

prAna is a company that produces clothing that is stylish and functional. Additionally, they are a company committed to sustainability, too.

This means you'll find organic cotton, hemp, recycled wool and other fiber sources which are sustainable. They are also committed to fair trade.

This past spring I attended a session on the impact of the fashion industry on the environment and our health. Some of the information shared (e.g. synthetic fibers entering the water supply and looking like food to fish!) blew my mind. Now, I am more committed to supporting companies that focus on sustainability.

I particularly adore their company mission statement “to inspire healthy, active and free-spirit living.” While I do not always feel like a free-spirit, I do seek to live a healthy and active life where I am comfortable in my own skin. As clothing is an extension of that ‘skin', it is something I consider more now at this stage of my life.

Items I'm Using to Be Active Everywhere with prAna

I was sent 2 items from their Spring line to test out and share.

The Ostara Top is super comfy. I find it to be perfect either as a coverup after active yoga in a sports bra or on its own when out and about.

Something I really appreciate in this top is the lace-up placket detail with embroidered eyelets that sits on your hips. An added bonus to this top is that the material has natural odor reducing features. This is a plus when you are working up a bit of a sweat and still have the top on.

When you want something that looks great when you are running around town or provides a comfy fit for outdoor activities, then look no further than the Shala Pant. I went with Cargo Green as it is a neutral color that works well with so many different options.

Beyond how comfortable these adjustable elastic waist pants are, they also have coveted pockets!

Although I initially wore these two items as a complete outfit (using jewelry in green tones to give that an all over unified color scheme), I find that these items pair quite well with other things I already own.

How do you dress for unpredictable spring weather?
Have you tried prAna clothing?

    Hi Laura!
Good to see you! I love the philosophy behind this company. The top is cute as I am a sucker for detail and I love the lace up sides. The pants look comfy and versatile for a day outing too.
    Hope you are well.
    thanks for linking!
