I have been, or can be if you click on a link and make a purchase, compensated via a cash payment, gift, or something else of value for writing this post. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
If you spend any time at all cruising the internet, you’ve most likely come across websites that promise with a little investment you can earn big through internet marketing. Just plop over some cash or slap up a website with a few pages and you’ll be rolling in dough!
The promises are seductive to some.
The reality is that very few people earn a lot of money online without investing a serious amount of blood, sweat, and tears.

Improve Blog Earnings Through Sponsored Posts
For those trying to earn income from a blog, a combination of different revenue streams is optimal.
One of the cornerstones for many bloggers is the sponsored post.
With my pending move, I’ve cut back on going after them this spring. However, it was through sponsored posts that I saved up the money to put TWO boys through braces, cover part of our family’s vacation to Hawaii last year, and pay for my smartphone (the phone & the service!)
Getting to that point involved a lot of hard work & some education. And it was years of blogging before I saved up the money for the orthodontist.
I’ve spent some serious cash on a few courses in the past. Usually, I never finish them as I find that there wasn’t anything BIG I didn’t already know. The ‘homework’ they provided didn’t seem to help me generate additional income or even grow my online presence.
When I heard about 9 Essential Steps to Rock Sponsored Posts this winter, I was skeptical. I sat in on a webinar about it. And, I emailed with the creator/instructor several times while discerning if I would plop down some cash on it.
I did and I don’t regret the purchase at all (unlike a few of the others!)
About 9 Essential Steps to Rock Sponsored Posts
This class blends online learning via Teachable with LIVE weekly classes using ZOOM. (So, you do need a good internet connection!)
As the course title promise, you have 9 weeks of material to work through.
Each week has a combination of lesson and homework.
There are pre-recorded videos (or audios for some of the lessons) as well as pdfs and spreadsheets to get you moving in the right direction.
And then there is the live class time on ZOOM.
The live component has actually been like a mastermind session with the other participants. Many people gush about how important it is to find your tribe and have a great mastermind. I’ve been in some and they’ve all fizzled in short order.
Even though I still have part of the course to finish, I felt like I had received my monies worth after the first 2 weeks. The LIVE component made all the difference for me.

Yes, I know that for some it will seem expensive.
Trust me when I saw that it is on the LOW end for blog classes and those don’t offer the same support and LIVE sessions. Monica also offers a payment option for those who need it.
Many of the ladies in the group have seen large monetary rewards & a lot of the reason was from discussions in the live sessions.
One of the ladies hadn’t even started her blog until week 2 of the class. Within a few months, she was over 2000 page views, something my second blog struggles to do!
We have also been implementing a few social media sharing groups through the mastermind formed by past class participants.
